Ian Evatt was left cursing Bolton's luck in their draw at Ipswich Town, pointing to two incidents which could have turned the game in their favour.

Wanderers had led before ultimately being held to a 1-1 draw, but Evatt believes his side should have been awarded an early penalty for a challenge which left Gethin Jones requiring treatment to a shoulder injury, whilst also pointing to an incident shortly before half-time in which he believes Town should have been reduced to 10 men.

Speaking after the final whistle, the Trotters boss refused to make too much of an issue with referee Samuel Barrott but admits he was disappointed to be on the wrong end of such decisions.

"For me it was a stonewall penalty," Evatt told OfficialBWFC on YouTube.

"He was clearly pulled down, they yanked his shoulder and fortunately he's okay.

"There was also a really, really bad tackle on MJ Williams on the touchline which was very high, studs up and was a clear red card.

"Again, we didn't get anything but we showed resilience, we dusted ourselves down and earned a point."
