The Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group is to stage a family fun day this coming Saturday in memory of deceased founder member, Allan Mather.
Mather, who established the Rembrance Group in 2019, passed away in March after suffering a seizure whilst at home, after which tributes poured in due to his commitment and dedication in raising thousands for charitable purposes.
In his memory, Wanderers supporters are urged to attend Atherton Collieries' Skuna Stadium on June 25, where doors will be open between 12-noon and 8pm.
Entry is £5 for adults, while those under the age of 18 will be permitted to enter for free.
Events on the agenda include an 11-a-side football match between a Remembrance Group XI and a Bolton Wanderers XI - with former stars Abdoulaye Faye, Nicky Hunt, Hasney Aljofree, Gary Henshaw, John Thomas, Mark Patterson and Neil Fisher all advertised - with kick-off set for 3pm.
In addition, there will be an open bar, live music and DJ, food outlets, baby dinosaurs, petting zoo, bouncy castle, face painting, craft stalls, huck-a-duck, an appearance from Lofty the Lion, and much more.
