Adam Senior's love affair with Bolton Wanderers is to continue after he signed a new contract to remain with the club's B-Team.

Senior, who has progressed all the way through the Trotters' academy system, made his first-team debut in August 2019 and has since gone on to feature seven times in all competitions.

The 20-year-old enjoyed stints on loan at Ashton United, York City and Chorley last season but admits his ultimate goal is to continue in his quest for professional football at the University of Bolton Stadium - a dream he has held since being a child.

"Everyone knows this is my club and where I want to be," Senior told bwfc.co.uk.

"I've had a taste of first-team football and playing regularly at that level is everyone's aim.

"We've got a fantastic squad and now having a 'B' team will also be a big help in terms of playing more games and having the chance to learn and develop for the future."
