Oladapo Afolayan has been voted as Bolton Wanderers' 2021/22 Player of the Year by Burnden Aces readers.
Afolayan, who joined Wanderers on a free transfer from West Ham United last summer following a successful loan spell at the club, netted 14 goals during his first full campaign as a senior professional which has unsurprisingly courted interest from many higher up the EFL pyramid.
The 24-year-old emerged victorious in our closest-ever poll, picking up 32.6% of the votes - with Gethin Jones narrowly behind with 31%.
Since polls were opened on March 23, more than 3,000 supporters made their selection as Afolayan took the award.
Jones, as already mentioned, came in as runner-up, while Ricardo Almeida Santos, who was our winner last season, finished 3rd with 21.7% of the votes.
