Oladapo Afolayan and Kyle Dempsey could feature in Bolton's Easter fixtures after scans on their respective hamstring injuries came back clear.

Afolayan and Dempsey, along with club captain Ricardo Almeida Santos, were substituted in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Portsmouth amid fears they could be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Ian Evatt has conceded Santos' fate is likely sealed for the current campaign but speaking after Saturday's game with Sheffield Wednesday, in which Afolayan was a surprise inclusion amongst the substitutes, the Wanderers manager admitted there is a possibility the midfield pair could feature at Doncaster Rovers on Good Friday.

"Kyle possibly and I would think Dapo probably," Evatt told OfficialBWFC on YouTube.

"He (Afolayan)'s still got some tightness in his hamstring but the scan was clear, which is positive.

"We didn't really want to take the risk with him today, so fingers crossed that settles now and we'll have him available for the Easter weekend."
