Amadou Bakayoko made his international debut on Thursday, featuring for Sierra Leone as they were beaten 3-0 by Togo.
Bakayoko, who has scored 11 goals in his debut campaign as a Bolton player, was handed a starting role at the Mardan Stadyumu in Antalya, Turkey, but found his opportunities limited as the Leone Stars were well beaten by a side placed 19 spots below them in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
The 26-year-old completed 90 minutes on an afternoon where a brace from Al-Tadamon forward Euloge Placca Fessou and a late effort from Al Ain's Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba proved decisive.
Bakayoko could yet receive further minutes on his first call-up to the national squad, with Sierra Leone back in action when they face Liberia this coming Sunday.
