Geoff Eltringham will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Rotherham United and Bolton at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley on December 11, while United were beaten by the same scoreline and opposition at the Wham Stadium on Boxing Day.
Eltringham, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 18 matches so far this season - issuing 71 yellow cards and two red.
His most recent outing was on December 29, when he was the man in the middle for Millwall's 1-0 victory over Coventry City in the Championship. The County Durham official brandished two yellow cards at the Coventry Building Society Arena, split evenly at one per side.
Eltringham's last match in charge of Bolton was in March 2019, when they were 2-1 winners over Queens Park Rangers in a Championship clash at Loftus Road. One player was cautioned that afternoon - Wanderers loanee Callum Connolly.
The last time he refereed a Rotherham fixture was on February 9, as they were beaten 2-1 by Cardiff City in a Championship encounter at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. He kept his cards in his pocket on that occasion.
