Samuel Barrott will referee Wednesday's Emirates FA Cup first-round replay between Stockport County and Bolton at Edgeley Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 victory at home to Crewe Alexandra this past Friday, while County were held to a 1-1 draw by Bromley the following evening.

Barrott, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 58 yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on November 12, when he was the man in the middle for Newport County's 2-1 victory at Hartlepool United in League Two. The Yorkshire official brandished three yellow cards at Victoria Park, all of which went to members of the winning visitors.

Barrott's last match in charge of Bolton was on August 17, when they were 1-0 winners over Lincoln City in a League One clash at the LNER Stadium. One player was cautioned that evening - Imps defender Adam Jackson.

The last time he refereed a Stockport fixture was in December 2019, as they ran out 4-2 winners over Chorley in a National League encounter at Edgeley Park. Three players went into the book that day, including County forward Devante Rodney.
