Keith Stroud will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Plymouth Argyle and Bolton at Home Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 4-0 defeat at home to Wigan Athletic on Saturday, while the Pilgrims were 3-1 winners at Oxford United that same afternoon.

Stroud, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 10 matches so far this season - issuing 37 yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on October 16, when he was the man in the middle for Sheffield United's 2-1 victory over Stoke City in the Championship. The Hampshire official brandished two yellow cards at Bramall Lane, both of which went to members of the losing visitors.

Stroud's last match in charge of Bolton was in February 2019, when they were beaten 2-0 by Sheffield United in a Championship clash at Bramall Lane. One player was cautioned that afternoon - Wanderers defender Callum Connolly.

The last time he refereed a Plymouth fixture was in September 2019, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bristol Rovers in a Leasing.com Trophy tie at Home Park - one they would go on to win 5-3 on penalties. One player went into the book that evening - Rovers substitute Abu Ogogo.
