Bolton will be close to full strength on Saturday as they travel to Sheffield Wednesday looking to register a fourth consecutive victory in all competitions.

After losing back-to-back games against Rotherham United and Sunderland in September, Wanderers have responded in perfect fashion - picking up wins against Charlton Athletic, Shrewsbury Town and Liverpool U21 whilst scoring 10 goals in the process.

Ian Evatt made 10 changes as the Trotters stepped out for Papa John's Trophy action in midweek, and he is expected to revert back to a similar side to the one that faced the Shrews after giving a number of players the opportunity to recover from minor knocks.

Gethin Jones was forced off at half-time against Salop after suffering a dead leg, but he looks set to return at right-back after resuming full training on Thursday.

Declan John, George Johnston and Ricardo Santos are expected to play in defence - with Joel Dixon keeping goal - while Evatt faces a welcome selection dilema as MJ Williams, Josh Sheehan, George Thomason, Kieran Lee and Antoni Sarcevic all compete for starts in central midfield.

Amadou Bakayoko scored twice after coming on as a substitute last time out, putting pressure on Eoin Doyle in attack, while Elias Kachunga will also be hoping to start as he returns to Hillsborough for the first time since his summer switch to Bolton.

Andrew Tutte (hamstring), Xavier Amaechi (foot) and Liam Edwards (knee) remain sidelined long-term, while Finlay Lockett this week stepped up his recovery from knee ligament surgery by running on grass for the first time since going under the knife.
