A star-studded list of former Bolton players are set to return for a special one-off charity fixture, which will see proceeds donated to the family of Wanderers defender Gethin Jones.
Jones' mother - Karen - was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in July and the family wish to explore treatment opportunities in the United States, where available options are said to be more advanced than alternatives within the United Kingdom.
Trotters chiefs have agreed to stage a 'Black Tie' dinner in the Lion of Vienna Suite from 19:00 on Saturday 13th November, while Ian Evatt's first-team squad - which could yet feature the manager himself - will face an All-Star XI the following afternoon (13:00) at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Kevin Davies, who represented the club between 2003 and 2013, appears to have taken a leading role in the acquisition of some old faces and took to social media on Wednesday evening to post a teaser of a potential line-up.
So having spoken to some @OfficialBWFC ex players this is what the team is shaping up like for @GethinJones8 charity match. @Robbo04pr @IAmOkocha and Kevin Nolan can’t commit just yet down to work commitments but are hopeful of playing some part! Who are we missing?! pic.twitter.com/R4zb2rV7vs

Alongside Davies, fellow former captain Gudni Bergsson has publicly agreed to partake, while two other names to have sported the armband - Jay-Jay Okocha and Kevin Nolan - are hoping to attend providing work commitments do not stand in the way.
Other names to appear on Davies' teamsheet include legendary goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen and European Championship winner Stelios Giannakopoulos, while Ricardo Gardner, Sam Ricketts, Nicky Hunt and Chris Eagles also pencilled in to play.
There could also be an emotional return for Ivan Campo, who has repeatedly offered his services to Wanderers in recent years.
Tickets for the fixture are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, while supporters can donate to a JustGiving fund by clicking here.
