Martin Coy will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Bolton and Milton Keynes Dons at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of an unbeaten pre-season, most recently drawing 2-2 with Blackburn Rovers last Saturday, while the Dons began their campaign with a 5-0 defeat at Bournemouth in the first round of the Carabao Cup that same afternoon.

Coy, who will take charge of the game, took charge of 32 matches last season - issuing 86 yellow cards and five red.

His most recent competitive outing came on May 23, when he was the man in the middle for a League Two play-off semi-final between Forest Green Rovers and Newport County. The Durham official brandished one yellow card at the New Lawn, which went to Rovers forward Aaron Collins.

Coy's last match in charge of Bolton was on April 20, when they were 1-0 winners over Carlisle United in a League Two clash at the University of Bolton Stadium. Two players entered the book that afternoon, including Wanderers defender Ricardo Almeida Santos.

The last time he refereed an MK Dons fixture was the previous weekend - April 17 - as they ran out 1-0 winners over Portsmouth in a League One encounter at Stadium MK. Four players were cautioned that day, while Pompey's Jack Whatmough was shown a straight red card in the latter stages.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Milton Keynes Dons:

Referee: Martin Coy
