Reiss Greenidge's time at Bolton appears to be at an end after he agreed to join Barnet on a season-long loan deal.

Greenidge, who has 12 months remaining on his contract at the University of Bolton Stadium, joins the National League outfit, who have the option to make the deal permanent next summer.

The 25-year-old moved to Wanderers on a free transfer from Norwegian side Arendal in August 2020 but struggled to establish himself - making seven appearances in all competitions, the last of which came back in January when he was sent off in a home defeat at the hands of Crawley Town.

With the potential for a fresh start ahead of him, Greenidge believes he is now approaching the time in his career where minutes on the pitch are his priority.

Speaking to, Greenidge said: "I am happy to be here and I look forward to coming in helping the team, getting some wins and pushing to get the Club back where they belong.

"I just want to play as many games as possible, gets as many wins as possible, keep clean sheets and maybe get a few goals as well!

"It's all about the team and I just want to help the team win.

"When I heard what the Club wanted to do this year, I knew it was the right place for me to come and try to help the team.

"I am looking forward to getting some games and playing in front of fans again."
