Carl Brook will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Grimsby Town and Bolton at Blundell Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Salford City on Tuesday, while Town were beaten 1-0 at Bradford City last Saturday.

Brook, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 25 matches so far this season - issuing 86 yellow cards and three red.

His most recent outing was on April 5, when he was the man in the middle for Exeter City's goalless draw with Mansfield Town in League Two. The East Sussex official brandished six yellow cards at St James Park, of which four were given to members of the home side.

In his first season as an EFL official, Brook has never previously taken charge of Bolton, but did oversee a Grimsby match as recently as December 2020 when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Mansfield in a League Two encounter at Blundell Park. Six players were cautioned that afternoon, including Mariners quartet Sam Russell, Filipe Morais, Kyle Bennett and Harry Clifton.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Grimsby Town and Bolton:

Referee: Carl Brook
