Declan Bourne will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Southend United and Bolton at Roots Hall.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-2 victory at Mansfield Town on Wednesday, while the Shrimpers played out a goalless draw at Cambridge United four days earlier.
Bourne, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 20 matches so far this season - issuing 56 yellow cards and no red.
His most recent outing was on February 13, when he was the man in the middle for MK Dons' 1-0 victory over Hull City in League One. The Nottinghamshire official brandished one yellow card at the KCOM Stadium, which went to City defender Lewie Coyle.
In his first season as an EFL official, Bourne has never previously taken charge of a Bolton fixture but has overseen Southend as recently as December 2020, when they held Stevenage to a 0-0 draw in a League Two encounter at the Lamex Stadium. Three players were cautioned that day, two of which were members of the United side.
