Michael Salisbury will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Bolton and Morecambe at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 victory at home to Leyton Orient a week last Saturday, while the Shrimps played out a 2-2 draw at Stevenage this past Saturday.

Salisbury, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 37 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on January 27, when he was the man in the middle for Rotherham United's 3-0 victory at Middlesbrough in the Championship. The Lancashire official kept his cards in his pocket at the Riverside Stadium.

Salisbury's last match in charge of Bolton was in December 2020, when they were beaten 2-1 by Walsall in a League Two clash at the Banks's Stadium. Three players entered the book that afternoon, including Wanderers duo Ricardo Santos and Ryan Delaney.

The last time he refereed a Morecambe fixture was in October 2020, as they lost 2-1 to Forest Green Rovers in a League Two encounter at the Mazuma Stadium. Six players were cautioned that day, with Shrimps' Stephen Hendrie, Nat Knight-Percival, Sam Lavelle and Aaron Wildig amongst those to have their names taken.
