Sam Allison will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Exeter City and Bolton at St James Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Crawley Town on January 2, while City were beaten 2-0 by Sheffield Wednesday this past Saturday in the third round of the FA Cup.

Allison, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 17 matches so far this season - issuing 47 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on January 2, when he was the man in the middle for Plymouth Argyle's 1-0 victory over Gillingham in League One. The Wiltshire official brandished three yellow cards at Home Park, two of which went to members of the losing visitors.

Allison has never previously taken charge of Bolton, but did oversee an Exeter fixture as recently as September 2020 when they were 3-2 winners over Forest Green Rovers in an EFL Trophy clash at St James Park. Three players were cautioned that day, all of which were in the visiting Rovers side.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Exeter City and Bolton:

Referee: Sam Allison
Assistant Referees: Robert Dabbs and Mark Derrien
Fourth Official: Adam Ricketts
