Samuel Barrott will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Bolton and Crawley Town at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-3 draw at Carlisle United on Boxing Day, while Town were 2-1 winners at Forest Green Rovers this past Tuesday.

Barrott, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 33 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on December 29, when he was the man in the middle for Wigan Athletic's 4-3 victory at Burton Albion in League One. The Yorkshire official kept his cards in his pocket at the Pirelli Stadium.

Barrott's last match in charge of Bolton was on October 10, when they were held to a goalless draw by Grimsby Town in a League Two clash at the University of Bolton Stadium. Three players entered the book that day, including Wanderers duo Ricardo Santos and Antoni Sarcevic.

The last time he refereed a Crawley fixture was on November 3, as they were beaten 1-0 by Walsall in a League Two encounter at the Banks's Stadium. Three players were cautioned that evening, including Reds forward Tom Nichols.
