Ross Joyce will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Carlisle United and Bolton at Brunton Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-0 defeat at home to Tranmere Rovers last Saturday, while United were beaten 1-0 at Forest Green Rovers that same afternoon.

Joyce, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 60 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on December 15, when he was the man in the middle for Salford City's 1-1 draw with Newport County in League Two. The Cleveland official brandished five yellow cards at the Peninsula Stadium, three of which went to members of the home side.

Joyce's last match in charge of Bolton was on October 6, when they were beaten 2-1 by Shrewsbury Town in an EFL Trophy group stage tie at the Montgomery Waters Meadow. Six players entered the book that evening, including Wanderers defender Adam Senior.

The last time he refereed a Carlisle fixture was on October 27, as they ran out 3-1 winners over Morecambe in a League Two encounter at Brunton Park. Four players were cautioned that day, including Cumbrians duo Joe Riley and Gavin Reilly.
