Michael Salisbury will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Walsall and Bolton at the Banks's Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 6-3 defeat at home to Port Vale last Saturday, while the Saddlers were 3-1 winners at Tranmere Rovers that same afternoon.

Salisbury, who will take charge of the game, has officiated nine matches so far this season - issuing 25 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on December 2, when he was the man in the middle for Blackburn Rovers' 2-1 victory over Millwall in the Championship. The Lancashire official brandished two yellow cards at Ewood Park, both of which went to members of the losing visitors.

Salisbury's last match in charge of Bolton was in December 2019, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Shrewsbury Town in a League One clash at the University of Bolton Stadium. Although no cautions were given that day, Wanderers captain Jason Lowe was dismissed for a two-footed lunge on an opposing player shortly before the hour.

The last time he refereed a Walsall fixture was in December 2018, as they ran out 1-0 winners in an FA Cup second-round tie against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Four players entered the book that evening, including Saddlers defender Jon Guthrie.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Walsall and Bolton:
