Martin Coy will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Scunthorpe United and Bolton at the Sands Venue Stadium.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory at Stevenage on Saturday, while the Iron were held to a 1-1 draw by Morecambe that same afternoon.
Coy, who will take charge of the game, has officiated eight matches so far this season - issuing 23 yellow cards and two red.
His most recent outing was on November 14, when he was the man in the middle for Harrogate Town's 1-1 draw with Crawley Town in League Two. The Durham official brandished two yellow cards at the EnviroVent Stadium, split evenly at one per side.
Coy's last match in charge of Bolton was on September 5, when they were beaten 2-1 by Bradford City in a Carabao Cup first-round tie at the University of Bolton Stadium. One player entered the book that afternoon - Bantams midfielder Harry Pritchard.
The last time he refereed a Scunthorpe fixture was in April 2019, as they played out a goalless draw with Blackpool in a League One encounter at Glanford Park. He kept his cards in his pocket on that occasion.
