Will Finnie will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture between Stevenage and Bolton at the Lamex Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-2 victory at home to Newcastle United U21 in the Papa John's Trophy this past Tuesday, while Boro were beaten 4-2 on penalties at Northampton Town after initially playing out a goalless draw.

Finnie, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 11 matches so far this season - issuing 32 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on November 17, when he was the man in the middle for Crewe Alexandra's 2-0 victory at Oxford United in League One. The Luton-based official brandished five yellow cards at the Kassam Stadium, three of which went to members of the losing home side.

Finnie has never previously taken charge of a Bolton fixture, but has overseen a Stevenage game. That came back in September 2019 when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cambridge United in a League Two encounter at the Lamex Stadium. Four players were cautioned that day, including Boro duo Paul Farman and Michael Timlin.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Stevenage and Bolton:

Referee: Will Finnie
Assistant Referees: Gregory Read and Michael Webb
Fourth Official: Marc Wilson
