Bolton have boosted their attacking options with the double signing of Arthur Gnahoua and Lloyd Isgrove, who both arrive on free transfers.

After a scoreless start to the 2020/21 League Two campaign, Wanderers Head Coach Ian Evatt had previously expressed a desire to provide competition for first-choice forwards Eoin Doyle and Nathan Delfouneso, with Shaun Miller the only recognised senior alternative.

Gnahoua arrives at the University of Bolton Stadium following his release by Macclesfield Town, for whom he scored four goals in 32 appearances last season as they were controversially relegated out of the EFL.

Isgrove, meanwhile, signs after his departure from Swindon Town, who were promoted to League One as champions last season - in a team which boasted the division's Golden Boot winner in the aforementioned Doyle.

The latter, who has been capped once by Wales, is capable of playing in attack but is more likely to fill the void left by a season-ending injury to Dennis Politic.

Both players have signed one-year contracts at Bolton and will go straight into the matchday squad for Saturday's visit of Newport County.
