Joe Dodoo has returned to football in unfamiliar territory, signing a two-year deal with Turkish side Ankara Keciorengucu.

Since arriving in England at the age of eight, Dodoo has spent his life in England and Scotland but was forced to re-evaluate the situation this summer following the expiry of his contract at Bolton.

Although impressive in spells during his solitary season with Wanderers, a return to the club never looked likely under new Head Coach Ian Evatt and he has put an end to lingering doubts over his future.

The 25-year-old completed the formalities of a deal with the Turkish second tier side this past Friday and watched on as his new teammates opened their season with a 1-0 victory at Boluspor the following day.
