Ian Evatt has been crowned National League Manager of the Season, after he guided Barrow back into the EFL as divisional champions.

Evatt had overseen a campaign which had brought a return of 70 points from 37 games - giving the Bluebirds a four-point lead over nearest challengers Harrogate Town prior to the campaign's curtailment due to COVID-19.

Using a points-per-game formula, Barrow were promoted to the fourth tier of the English football pyramid for the first time since 1972.

However, they will embark on their League Two journey next season without the services of Evatt, who was appointed Head Coach at Bolton on July 1, with former Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn instead taking their reigns at Holker Street.

The 2020/21 fixture list is expected to be revealed by mid-August, with the new season kicking off over the weekend of September 12/13, 2020.
