Bolton Wanderers have confirmed four of their final-year academy scholars have been signed to their first professional contracts.

Matthew Alexander, Adam Senior, Sonny Graham and Callum King-Harmes, all of whom have featured multiple times at first-team level this season, have signed 12-month deals at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Alexander made his Wanderers debut in a memorable goalless draw against Coventry City last August, as well as playing in a Leasing.com Trophy tie against Bradford City.

He has been an unused substitute on a further 34 occasions, largely playing the role of understudy to Remi Matthews.

Senior, who was born and raised in the town of Bolton, has played four times, while Graham has picked up the most experience throughout the course of the campaign.

The 17-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions as Keith Hill utilised the services of the midfielder alongside names such as Liam Bridcutt, Luke Murphy and Ethan Hamilton.

King-Harmes played on seven occasions in the opening weeks of the season, although the 18-year-old will be looking to force his way back into first-team plans over the coming year after last featuring for Hill back in September.
