UEFA representatives are to meet on Tuesday 17th March to discuss football's response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak.

Football associations across Europe have suspended their domestic campaigns, with Spain's La Liga, Denmark's Superliga, Netherlands' Eredivisie and Italy's Serie A all shutting down.

Fixtures in the top two tiers of the French game are to be played behind closed doors, while a number of games in the Champions League and Europa League have and will continue to be played in empty stadiums - with postponements also increasing.

At the time of writing, English league matches remain unaffected although any decision on a pause to the campaign is likely to be made in collaboration with the government's medical officials.

UEFA, however, may decide on a blanket ban of public football at a meeting next Tuesday, when representatives from their 55 member nations will provide their views at a videoconference, after which communication will be shared across the continent.
