Leigh Doughty will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Bolton and Peterborough United at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw at Burton Albion on Tuesday evening, while Posh were 2-0 winners at home to Portsmouth three days earlier.

Doughty, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 26 matches so far this season - issuing 80 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on February 29, when he was the man in the middle for Rotherham United's 1-1 draw with Milton Keynes Dons in League One. The Lancashire official brandished four yellow cards at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, split evenly at two per team.

Doughty's last match in charge of Bolton was on January 11, when they were beaten 2-0 by Rochdale in a League One clash at the Crown Oil Arena. Two players entered the book that afternoon, including Wanderers midfielder Ethan Hamilton.

He has never previously refereed a Peterborough fixture.
