Paul Marsden will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Blackpool and Bolton at Bloomfield Road.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday, while the Seasiders held AFC Wimbledon to a goalless draw at Kingsmeadow that same afternoon.
Marsden, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 26 matches so far this season - issuing 87 yellow cards and one red.
His most recent outing was on February 22, when he was the man in the middle for Crawley Town's 2-0 victory over Stevenage in League Two. The Lancashire official brandished three yellow cards at the People's Pension Stadium, two of which went to members of the defeated visitors.
Marsden's last match in charge of Bolton was in September 2019, when they played out a goalless draw with Oxford United in a League One clash at the University of Bolton Stadium. Two players entered the book that afternoon - Wanderers duo Jack Hobbs and Dennis Politic.
The last time he refereed a Blackpool fixture was also in September 2019, as they were beaten 3-2 by Coventry City in a League One encounter at the St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium. Two players were cautioned that day, including Tangerines substitute Nathan Delfouneso.
