Bolton's trip to Shrewsbury Town on January 25 will be rearranged due to Salop's involvement in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Wanderers, who were held to a 1-1 draw by the Shrews at the University of Bolton Stadium on December 29, were due to travel to Montgomery Waters Meadow before the end of the month but Sam Ricketts' side will instead host Premier League leaders and reigning UEFA Champions League holders Liverpool in cup competition.

Town advanced from their third-round replay with Bristol City on Tuesday evening thanks to an 89th minute strike from Aaron Pierre, giving them a 1-0 victory on home soil after the teams had played out a 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate on January 4.

A revised date for the Trotters' League One clash will be announced in due course.
