Marc Edwards will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Bolton and AFC Wimbledon at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 7-1 defeat at Accrington Stanley a fortnight ago, while the Dons were 1-0 winners at home to Gillingham that same afternoon.

Edwards, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 14 matches so far this season - issuing 32 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on December 3, when he was the man in the middle for Port Vale's 2-2 draw with Mansfield Town in the Leasing.com Trophy. The Tyne and Wear official brandished two yellow cards at Vale Park, both of which went to members of the visiting side.

Edwards has never previously taken charge of either Bolton or AFC Wimbledon, with the weekend's clash just his fourth in English football's third tier following his promotion from the National League at the beginning of the current campaign.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and AFC Wimbledon:

Referee: Marc Edwards

Fourth Official: Ian Smedley
