Peter Wright will referee Tuesday's Trophy group stage fixture between Bolton and Manchester City U21 at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers' weekend trip to Lincoln City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, meaning they go into the game on the back of a 2-0 victory at Bristol Rovers last Tuesday. City's under-21 side, meanwhile, were most recently in action this past Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Arsenal in their Premier League 2 meeting at the Academy Stadium.

Wright, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 12 matches so far this season - issuing 41 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on October 19, when he was the man in the middle for Port Vale's 1-1 draw with Stevenage in League Two. The Merseyside official brandished two yellow cards at Vale Park, with each side receiving one apiece.

Wright has never previously taken charge of either Wanderers or City U21, while this will serve as his first Trophy tie of the campaign.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Bolton and Manchester City U21:

Referee: Peter Wright
Assistant Referees: Richard Wigglesworth and Kevin Mulraine
Fourth Official: Billy Smallwood
