John Busby will referee Monday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Bolton and Blackpool at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Rochdale in the Trophy last Tuesday - a tie which they would ultimately lose out on penalties - while Pool were 2-1 winners over Lincoln City in their most recent league fixture the previous Friday.

Busby, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 11 matches so far this season - issuing 41 yellow cards and four red.

His most recent outing was on September 25, when he was the man in the middle for Burton Albion's 2-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup. The Oxfordshire official brandished five yellow cards at the Pirelli Stadium, three of which went to members of the victorious League One outfit.

Busby has never previously refereed a Bolton fixture, but did find himself overseeing the Seasiders as recently at April 27 when they were beaten 2-1 by Barnsley in a League One encounter at Oakwell. One player entered the book that day - visiting midfielder Anthony Evans.

Below is the full set of officials for Monday's game between Bolton and Blackpool:

Referee: John Busby

Fourth Official: Robert Lewis
