Martin Coy will referee Tuesday's Trophy fixture between Bolton and Bradford City at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 5-0 defeat at Gillingham on Saturday, while City were beaten 2-1 at Crewe Alexandra that same afternoon.

Coy, who will take charge of the game, has officiated three matches so far this season - issuing 11 yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on August 24, when he was the man in the middle for Coventry City's 1-0 victory over Gillingham in League Two. The Durham official produced two yellow cards at the St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium, both of which went to members of the losing Gills side.

Coy has never previously taken charge of a Bolton fixture, but most recently refereed a Bradford game on March 30 - as they lost 1-0 to Charlton Athletic in a League One encounter at The Valley. He kept his cards in his pocket on that occasion.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Bolton and Bradford City:

Referee: Martin Coy
Assistant Referees: Gareth Mellor and Daniel Woodward
Fourth Official: Chris Isherwood
