Keith Hill has made his first signing as Bolton manager, with Stoke City winger Thibaud Verlinden arriving on loan until January.

The 20-year-old, who has been capped by Belgium at multiple youth levels, has been with the Potters since the summer of 2015 and made his senior debut in a Carabao Cup tie against Rochdale in August 2017.

Verlinden has since gone on to make a total of seven appearances for Stoke's first-team, the most recent of which was as a substitute in their 3-1 defeat at Charlton Athletic on August 10.

He has previously spent time on loan at German side St Pauli and is the son of Dany Verlinden, who made more than 600 appearances as a professional between 1980 and 2004 and travelled with Belgium to both the 1994 and 1998 World Cup tournaments.
