Bolton's Sky Bet League One fixture against Blackpool has been rescheduled, after it was selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports.

Wanderers were due to host the Seasiders at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday 5th October 2019, but the game will now take place on Monday 7th October - kicking off at 20:00.

It will be the first meeting between the two Lancashire clubs since October 2016, when Sammy Ameobi scored the only goal to give Phil Parkinson's side victory in a Checkatrade Trophy group fixture at Macron Stadium.

Of the 18 who were named in the Trotters squad that evening, only Ben Alnwick remains at the club, while Jay Spearing - a late substitute for Josh Vela - now finds himself leading out Pool as captain.
