James Adcock will referee Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture between Bolton and Coventry City at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Wycombe last Saturday, while the Sky Blues opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Southend United.

Adcock, who will take charge of the game, has officiated one match so far this season - issuing seven yellow cards and ond red.

That outing was on August 3, when he was the man in the middle for Newport County's 2-2 draw with Mansfield Town in League Two. The Nottinghamshire official pointed to the penalty spot at Rodney Parade, as well as sending off Town midfielder Jacob Mellis.

Adcock's last match in charge of Bolton was in March 2016, when they were beaten 6-0 by Bristol City in a Championship clash at Ashton Gate. Two players were cautioned that afternoon, with Dean Moxey and Josh Vela having their names taken for Jimmy Phillips' visiting side.

The last time he refereed a Coventry fixture was in November 2014, as they ran out 2-0 winners over Plymouth Argyle in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at the Ricoh Arena. Three players entered the book that evening - City trio Andy Webster, Adam Barton and James Maddison.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Coventry:
