Bolton will be without Connor Hall and Josh Earl for upwards of three months, after they both suffered ankle injuries.

Hall, who picked up the injury in training, was pictured in a protective boot on social media last week and missed the season opener at Wycombe Wanderers.

Earl, meanwhile, was substituted just 14 minutes into that game at Adams Park following a challenge with Paul Smyth.

Both players underwent scans on their respective problems and will discover whether surgery is required before the end of the week.
