Former Bolton defender Pawel Olkowski has completed a move to Turkey, signing a two-year deal with Gazisehir Gaziantep.

Olkowski, who joined Wanderers on a free transfer from FC Koln in July 2018, made 39 appearances last season as they were relegated to League One.

He had 12 months remaining on his contract at the University of Bolton Stadium, but decided to terminate the deal in June after going several months without a wage.

The 29-year-old had been linked with a switch to Lech Poznan in his native Poland, but will instead link up with a side which won promotion to the Turkish top-flight with a play-off final victory over Hatayspor in May.
