Bolton appear to be fighting a losing battle over the future of Luca Connell, who has been photographed on a tour of Celtic Park.
Made public on Twitter by Wanderers supporter Matty Meacher (@__Matty10), Connell is seen with Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell.
The 18-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Scottish Premiership champions and admitted in a recent interview with the Irish Examiner that it would be 'an honour to represent them'.
Connell is just one of 14 players - senior or on scholarship terms - due to return to Bolton for the commencement of pre-season training next Monday, but it is fast becoming clear that the midfielder is likely to be playing elsewhere when the new campaign begins in August.
