As staff at Bolton Wanderers continue to wait for outstanding wage payments, you can support by donating to the club's food bank.

Administrative and non-football employees at the University of Bolton Stadium have had to swallow their pride over the past week, as they enter a room within the confines of the ground to collect the basic essentials that many take for granted in their everyday lives.

Set up by the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, the food bank is in need of daily replenishment and that is where you can contribute.

BWFC Food Bank, in collaboration with Fans Supporting Foodbanks and Urban Outreach, will be making collections at Asda's Burnden Park and Middlebrook Retail Park stores on Saturday.

A purple van will be present at Burnden Park at approximately 10:30am, before heading over to Middlebrook at 12:20pm for a second pickup.

Those unable to make it can make drop offs at the customer service desks at both stores beforehand, but are advised to seek an Urban Outreach Grub Tub beyond the aforementioned times in order to ensure donations are distributed to the local community.

Items required but not limited to include:

- UHT Milk
- Sugar (500g)
- Fruit Juice
- Soup
- Tinned Tomatoes
- Tinned Vegatables
- Tinned Meat/Fish
- Tinned Potatoes
- Instant Mash Potato
- Pasta (and Sauces)
- Curry Sauce
- Rice Pudding (Tinned)
- Tinned Fruit
- Biscuits or Snack Bars
- Cereal
- Shower Gel
- Women's Sanitary Products
- Nappies

Fans of Everton and Leeds United have already donated, while remaining contributions made prior to Liverpool's Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town last month will also be collected.

The Blackpool Supporters' Trust, who recently had members present at a meeting of the Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust, have also confirmed a significant donation is to be made.
