Oliver Langford will referee Sunday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Nottingham Forest and Bolton at the City Ground.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Easter Monday, while Forest were 1-0 winners at Queens Park Rangers the following Saturday.

Langford, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 34 matches so far this season - issuing 107 yellow cards and six red.

His most recent outing was on April 27, when he was the man in the middle for Millwall's goalless draw with Stoke City in the Championship. The West Midlands official brandished three yellow cards at The Den, two of which went to members of the visiting Potters.

Langford's last match in charge of Bolton was in November 2018, when they were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa in a Championship clash at Villa Park. Three players were cautioned that evening, with Pawel Olkowski, David Wheater and Craig Noone all having their names taken for the visiting side.

The last time he refereed a Forest fixture was on January 12, as they lost 2-0 to Reading in a Championship encounter at the Madejski Stadium. Seven players were booked that afternoon, while Daniel Fox and Tendayi Darikwa were also dismissed for the visitors.
