A prohibition notice placed upon the University of Bolton Stadium has been lifted, meaning Wanderers' upcoming fixtures against Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough can go ahead.

After failing to pay salaries for the month of March, security and medical staff had refused to commit their services for the double-header, leading Bolton Council to revoke the club's safety certificate following a meeting of the Safety Advisory Group (SAG).

Wages for non-footballing personnel arrived in bank accounts on Thursday, however, and an emergency SAG meeting lifted the prohibition notice after they were suitably satisfied that conditions of the safety certificate had been met.

That means Bolton supporters will be granted access to the stadium, including season ticket holders who are signed up to the club's Direct Debit scheme - providing payments are up-to-date as of March 29, 2019.

The club have confirmed a date for April's final payments will be announced in due course.
