2018/19 has been dominated by negative off-field headlines at Bolton Wanderers, but the time for positives has arrived with our Player of the Year poll.

12 months ago, Ben Alnwick took the award with 53.85% of the public vote, although a combination of injuries and inconsistent form mean the goalkeeper is likely to find back-to-back honours more difficult to come by.

Alnwick is one of 12 players eligible for your vote this time around, with he and the 11 that join him all falling under the following criteria:

- Players must have been at the club since the closure of the summer transfer window.
- Players must have made a minimum of 20 starts in all competitions by the end of March.

Votes can be made by using the poll in the right-hand column of the website. Polls will close at 5pm on May 3, 2019, with the winner being announced following Bolton's final game of the season at Nottingham Forest two days later.

Below are the 12 players eligible for your vote this season.
