With a two-week international break consigned to the past, Bolton return to action on Saturday when they face Queens Park Rangers.

Hammered 5-2 at Wigan Athletic in their last outings, Wanderers travel to Loftus Road where they will come up against the only side to have accumulated fewer points (six) in the Championship since the turn of the year than themselves (seven).

Eight points is the gap between the Trotters and survival, with goal difference effectively adding an extra point. So, with just eight games left to play, it is surely a case of now-or-never for Phil Parkinson's team who can ill-afford any more mishaps.

They travel to the capital without the services of Jason Lowe, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after scans revealed ligament damage to an injured ankle.

Yanic Wildschut remains on the sidelines with a similar problem but may return in April, while Jack Hobbs is also unavailable after picking up a back strain during the international break.

Luke Murphy (calf) is a major doubt, while Luca Connell will be assessed ahead of kick-off after returning from international duty on Friday.

Josh Magennis is another to have represented his country over the past fortnight and will require the attention of medical staff before being declared fit to play, while Ben Alnwick could make a return after featuring in a behind-closed-doors fixture during the week after a long absence through injury.
