Tony Harrington will referee the New Year's Day Sky Bet Championship fixture between Hull City and Bolton at the KCOM Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a goalless draw with Stoke City on Saturday, while the Tigers were 2-0 winners at Leeds United that same afternoon.

Harrington, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 52 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on December 29, when he was the man in the middle for Millwall's 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Championship. The Cleveland official brandished four yellow cards at The Den, split evenly at two per team.

Harrington's last match in charge of Bolton was in October 2017, when they held Sunderland to a 3-3 draw in a Championship clash at the Stadium of Light. One player was cautioned that evening - Black Cats forward Lewis Grabban.

The last time he refereed a Hull fixture was on September 15, as they beat Ipswich Town 2-0 in a Championship encounter at the KCOM Stadium. Two players entered the book that day - Tigers duo Fraizer Campbell and Kevin Stewart.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Hull City and Bolton:
