Bolton Wanderers players will receive their November salary payments by December 6, after a number of senior professionals spoke with chairman Ken Anderson.

Wanderers' ongoing financial problems hit the headlines for the wrong reasons once again on Thursday evening, after it emerged players, coaching and office staff at the University of Bolton Stadium were unlikely to receive their monthly wage on time.

A report courtesy of The Bolton News indicates office staff have been paid, although the remaining balances appear unlikely to be met before next Thursday.

Anderson is due to meet with local media ahead of Saturday's derby clash with Wigan Athletic, where questions are sure to be asked over the club's immediate, short and long-term future.
