John Brooks will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Rotherham United and Bolton, replacing Tim Robinson.

Brooks has officiated 11 matches so far this season - issuing 45 yellow cards and three red.

His most recent outing was on October 6, when he was the man in the middle for Nottingham Forest's 2-0 victory at Middlesbrough in the Championship. The Leicestershire official produced four yellow cards at the Riverside Stadium, as well as dismissing Forest defender Jack Robinson.

Brooks' last match in charge of Bolton was on August 11, when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bristol City in a Championship clash at the University of Bolton Stadium. Eight players were cautioned that afternoon, with Andrew Taylor, Mark Beevers, Josh Vela, Luke Murphy, Gary O'Neil and Adam Le Fondre amongst the recipients.

The last time he refereed a Rotherham fixture was in September 2017, as they beat Oldham Athletic 5-1 in a League One encounter at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. Four players entered the book that afternoon, including United midfielder Jon Taylor.

Below is a revised list of officials for Saturday's game between Rotherham United and Bolton:

Referee: John Brooks
Assistant Referees: Matthew McGrath and Mark Jones
Fourth Official: Scott Ledger
