Scott Duncan will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Derby County at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a goalless draw at Ipswich Town last Saturday, while the Rams were victorious on penalties in a Carabao Cup tie at Manchester United on Tuesday evening.

Duncan, who will take charge of the game, has officiated nine matches so far this season - issuing 27 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on September 22, when he was the man in the middle for Sheffield United's 3-2 victory over Preston North End in the Championship. The Northumberland official produced three yellow cards at Bramall Lane, two of which went to members of the losing Lilywhites.

Duncan's last match in charge of Bolton was on May 6, when they preserved their Championship status with a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest at Macron Stadium. Seven cautions were issued that afternoon, with Antonee Robinson, Darren Pratley and the eventual match-winner, Aaron Wilbraham, all having their names taken for Phil Parkinson's side.

The last time he refereed a Derby fixture was on August 21, as they ran out 2-0 winners over Ipswich in a Championship encounter at Pride Park. Four players entered the book that evening, including County duo Richard Keogh and Craig Bryson.
