Marc Wilson will miss Bolton's game at home to Derby County on Saturday, after the club opted against appealing his red card at Ipswich Town.

Wilson, who was making his first league start for Wanderers in the clash at Portman Road, was dismissed with just 34 minutes on the clock for tugging the shirt of Town forward Kayden Jackson as he closed in on goal.

Trotters boss Phil Parkinson had initially suggested an appeal could be heard, but the club have instead decided to accept a one-match ban rather than run the risk of seeing it extended by the Football Association's disciplinary panel.
